Liposuction 360
What is Liposuction 360?
Liposuction 360, also referred to as Lipo 360, is a minimally-invasive body contouring procedure that removes excess fat from the stomach, sides, and back to reshape the midsection, 360 degrees around. This results in a more toned waist and sculpted appearance overall and it is already becoming one of our most popular offerings at Beverly Hills Physicians.
What is the Difference Between Liposuction 360 and Traditional Liposuction?
In traditional liposuction, specific trouble areas are targeted, such as the midsection or back. Liposuction 360 provides a more inclusive and comprehensive solution to removing stubborn, excess fat from the entire midsection at every angle – thus, giving the procedure its name. By taking liposuction a step further and working around the entire circumference of the body instead of one specific area, Liposuction 360 can provide a more naturally contoured look from every angle.
What are the Benefits of Liposuction 360?
Similar to traditional liposuction, Liposuction 360 offers many benefits to individuals struggling to get rid of stubborn, excess fat. While a good diet and regular exercise plan can help a great deal, sometimes it can be difficult to successfully target tough areas such as the midsection or flanks (side abdomen). Liposuction 360 finishes the job the patient started by targeting these hard-to-reach areas. Liposuction 360 provides the following benefits:
- Eliminates stubborn fat tissue
- Tighter midsection
- Reduced waist and love handles
- Noticeable curves from all angles
- Long-lasting results
- Renewed confidence
What is the Process of Getting Liposuction 360?
Liposuction 360 begins with anesthesia for the patient’s comfort. Next, small, strategic incisions are made where a long, thin tube called a cannula can be inserted to surgically vacuum excess fat from the targeted areas. After the fat is evenly removed from the targeted sections around the body, incisions are closed and patients are placed into a compression garment for recovery.
What is the recovery process like?
Patients may feel discomfort for a few days following their Liposuction 360 procedure, including swelling, bruising, and pain. We recommend patients rest at home for the first couple of days after their procedure and it may take anywhere between one to four weeks to fully return to all regular activities. While many patients return to work within five days, getting lots of rest in the first few days following the procedure can aid in a quicker recovery time. Patients may also experience some drainage in the first 48 hours after surgery, which is completely normal. Continuing to wear the compression garment allows for proper healing as well as assisting in discomfort management. Since Liposuction 360 is a minimally invasive procedure, the tiny incisions heal easier than larger incisions and will also fade over time, leaving minimal visible scarring, if at all.
