John Lynn Baeke, M.D.

Dr. Baeke has had a tenured career as a plastic surgeon.  He founded Park Place Plastic Surgery in Kansas City, later establishing a second location in Santa Ynez Valley, California.  Today, he has offices in Thousand Oaks, California and San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Baeke is passionate about plastic surgery and is known for his good humor and caring bedside manner.  Working alongside Dr. Baeke is his wife Suzanne, a plastic surgery nurse.  She is an integral member of the team with whom all his patients become quite close.  Many refer to Suzanne as the “sorority house-mom”.  Dr. Baeke and Suzanne typically provide his patients with a house-call the day following surgery.  Even after the surgery is done, Dr. Baeke’s patients have easy access to them both.

His avocations are old cars, jazz music and husky dogs.  He was a Commander in the U.S. Navy, and later an elected member of the Santa Ynez Valley High School District, Board of Governors.  Dr. Baeke and Suzanne have four children.
