46 old female with excess fat and skin of her abdomen and waist plus weakness of her abdominal wall. Undergone 3 pregnancies and desires improved contour. Tummy tuck was performed along with strengthening abdominal wall. Results show a much improved contour, flatter abdomen, without anymore excess tissue hangover. Patient also underwent liposuction to the back and waist along with fat grafting to the buttocks.

45 old female with excess fat and skin of her abdomen and waist with an overhang. History of 2 pregnancies and recent weight loss, desiring improved contour. Tummy tuck was performed along with strengthening and tightening of the muscular abdominal wall (rectus diastasis) plus liposuction of the waist and flanks. Results show a much improved contour and appearance. Also to be noted are the hidden, invisible abdominoplasty scars, the elimination of stretch marks below the belly button, and the excessive skin fold below rib cage is gone.

Liposuction + Buttock Augmentation w/ Fat Transfer (08/2017)

This 23 year old woman consulted Dr. Louis Mandris for liposuction of her trunk and fat transfer to her buttocks. She was advised that because of excessive skin on her lower abdomen, she would likely require an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) as well. The patient requested that Dr. Mandris attempt to perform this with liposuction only as she did not want any tummy tuck scars on her lower abdomen. Liposuction only was performed and 690cc of fat was transferred to each buttock. Immobilization of the skin was accomplished with adherent foam padding for 2 weeks post surgery. This is her early result at 8 weeks after surgery.

Liposuction + Buttock Augmentation w/ Fat Transfer (08/2017)

This is a young man who presented for Rhinoplasty in December of last year. He had a deviated septum, previous fracture and complained about the large hump in his nose. He desired to look “normal”.

My approach was to present him with options which he could choose from. He chose a reduction rhinoplasty with correction of the septum and elevating the columnella to prevent columnella show, where you can see inside the nose from the side.

The recent photos are less than two months post-op but he is extremely happy with the results. The swelling of the nose is normal but is coming along nicely for such a short time.

Post Bariatric Reconstruction (06/2017)

Patient underwent a Bariatric surgery with Dr. Mona Misra at BHP which resulted in significant and permanent weight reduction over a period of about 15 months. The weight loss resulted in excess large hanging skin on lower abdomen and lower body as well as droopiness of the breasts. So she presented to our office for a lower body lift and breast lift. She underwent an abdominoplasty with plication of muscles, liposuction of flanks and a breast lift with insertion of implants. The results shown are early post op, about 4-5 weeks out. The skin will continue to shrink as there is swelling of tissues up to 6 months post op. The abdominoplasty incision was placed low to be hidden by underwear or bikini. The anchor breast scar will also fade with proper care over next several months and the vertical scar is hidden well in the breast crease.

“A few years ago I was looking for a Dr. to perform a face lift. At the time I was 52 but with energy of a 40 year old and my face didn’t represent my life style. I looked tired and I wanted a fresh look. It took me a whole year to find the right Dr. and I do encourage people to meet with several doctors to determine which hands you should trust.

In my journey, I consulted 5 Doctors (the 5 best plastic surgeons in San Diego) and I choose Dr. Kincaid. When I met him, it was like I was talking to a friend, he made me feel relaxed, he asked me as many questions as I asked him and he wanted to make sure that I wanted a face lift for the right reasons. Many of my friends and family members were concerned with my decision because of the horror stories that you hear, but I was sure based on my conversations and before and after pictures of his work, that I was going to get a fresh and natural look, not a stretched fake Hollywood look.

I scheduled the surgery during the Christmas vacation, his staff was wonderful (again a group of people that you feel more like a bunch of friends taking care of you) the surgery was a success, I also had my eyes done and lipo on my neck. It took about 2 weeks for the bruising to go away and about 2 more weeks to see the results …I love my face and OMG my eyes are fabulous!

Few years later I wanted my body to match my face so I decided to do a tummy tuck and lipo on my legs (inside and out) and back. I know…it’s a lot to be done at one time. I picked Dr. Kincaid again because of my previous experience with him and his staff. I have to say that a tummy tuck is a major surgery and the recovery is longer than a face lift, but the results are amazing. I was not a large woman to begin with 5’1 about size 8 but my skin, due to my age and gaining and losing weight throughout the years, had lost elasticity. Another big contributor was my pregnancy (many moons ago) with my son, who was a very large baby in small body like mine, so my skin was loose and it looked like I had a bump in my lower tummy. Regardless of exercise or diet that “bump” was never going to go away and my arms looked like “grandma” arms if you know what I mean.

This patient requested a facial rejuvenation. Dr Cohen performed a browpexy with an upper blepharoplasty and a face and neck lift. Dr Cohen performs many facelifts using a skin and SMAS technique which rejuvenated the jowl and neckline. These post op pics are 3 months post surgery.

Breast Augmentation & Liposuction (10-12)

This patient consulted me for Breast Augmentation and liposuction of her mid-section. I performed tumescent liposuction of her upper and lower abdomen and flanks and lower back. She wore a dressing of adherent foam padding for 2 weeks before removing the dressing. This greatly reduces the post op swelling period. I also placed high profile saline implants, 420cc on the right and 440cc on the left, through a small incision in her axilla and under her pectoralis muscle. She wore an upper breast band for 4 weeks to maintain the lowering of her infra-mammary fold. This result is now 7 weeks from the day of surgery and she continues to improve with each visit.

LapBand (5/2012)

This 32 year old woman came to our office in search of a solution for her significant morbid obesity. She had been battling her weight for over half her life without success, and was desperately looking for a permanent solution. Rhinoplasty Revision (12/2012)

This 49 y/o lady had a primary rhinoplasty performed six years before she came to see me. The original surgery left her with the tell-tale signs of the classical badly performed nose job: Columella-Ala discrepancy (too much nostril show); middle vault collapse (sever pinching on breathing) and a host of other problems. I performed a secondary rhinoplasty on her and balanced her appearance.

Blepharoplasty (8/2012)

The request of the patient was simple: “I look tired all the time. Can you make my eyes look refreshed?” Blepharoplasty (eyelid rejuvenation) is a straight forward procedure when it comes to the upper lids. The lower lids however are a different deal because of th e weight of the cheek musculature pulling them down. If this weight is not counteracted by repositioning it upwards, especially in the so-called “negative vector” patients who lack strong cheek bones, the result might be disastrous with exposure of the eyeball through an everted (turned down) lid. My contribution to this field was my devise of a suspension technique that hitches the heavy weight of the mid-face to the bones of the outer orbit. The entire surgery is conducted through the lower lid incision that is placed very close to the lash line. The result is the regaining of the youthful appearance of the eyes.

Mommy Makeover (9/2012)

This is a 26 year old female who has two children. After her children she has the normal post operative appearance of extra skin and tissue on her abdomen. Dr. Andrew Cohen, ( the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center), performed a Mommy Makeover on her. She had a full abdominoplasty with flank liposculpture. He also performed a saline breast augmentation under the muscle with a 360cc high profile implant from Allergan. She has gone from a small A cup to a full C cup. She is 6 month post op in her post op pictures.

Liposuction Revision With Fat Transfer (4/2012)

This is a 40 year old Hispanic patient who previously had a tummy tuck and liposuction of her backside with a different medical center. Unhappy with her results, she consulted with Dr Mandris at Beverly Hills Physicians because she wanted to revise the previous liposuction result and to transfer fat to her buttocks to improve the shape. Using tumescent technique, her abdomen and back were liposuctioned and 1350cc of injectable fat was obtained. Approximately 675cc of fat were transferred to each side of her buttock. These photos were taken 8 weeks post surgery.

Breast Augmentation with Cohesive Gel Implants(4/2013)

The patient is a 5ft 9, 140 lb female who presented with slightly uneven breasts and uneven inframammary folds. The patient’s chest and hips are uneven due to scoliosis (mild), and she had fat in the pectoral folds (normally referred to as tail of the breast). She chose a 430 cc cohesive gel implant often referred to as gummy bear implants.
